So true about Wells Fargo finding ways to fire employees. Salem just fired a few people due to them not meeting stats. Never were they so strict with that. The more people they fire, the less severance they’ll have to pay when an actual layoff happens. I know of a few people who were there for many many years! Some were financially impacted. They were working hard to stay until the end to get that severence pay

Wells Fargo is trying to make employees quit by changing procedures. It'll only get worse if you're at a site that is going to close.

If you unionize, the company will immediately close the site and you'll get your severance pay. If you don't unionize, the company will find some small reason to fire you so that you wont get severance pay.

I feel really sorry for the people who were let go yesterday. I knew several of the managers who were laid off yesterday. One was my manager at one point years ago when I transferred to Oregon. All of my previous managers have either bann laid off or have retired.

RTO feels like punishment now. No one in the office is happy to be there. We are all there on different days so it's not like the building is ever full. If our building is going to close soon, just let us WFH! It saves money for everyone.

Lease the Barnhart center to the school next door already! The students will get more use out of it!

The employees who lost their manager yesterday will be split up & divided between the remaining teams. Yes, 3 ODCR & 2 Bilingual managers were also let go. It looks like the only department (upstairs)that didn't lose anyone is Estate Care. Card Collections has not been given a time-line for layoffs.

Charlie doesn’t care. I almost think he has a chaos, pain ki-k and loves to sit back and watch everyone suffer while he burns it all down.

Everyone is gunna start dropping like flies. I read in another thread about 2 months ago that Wells Fargo would start lay offs at the Salem site in June or summer. They were only about a month off, but it’s pretty damn accurate. Someone truly knows.

Did they give any direction to the collections folks still working, like who they'll be reporting to? Can't imagine the chaos after managers get laid off - so stressful to still be talking to customers while that's happening and wondering when it's your turn. Seems risky.

Managers in collections got laid off in Barnhart… Any idea of when the rest of us will be let go?

@epl+1siFOfTD I thought we had a chance to make it past 2024, but after today, no way. Can you share those dates? Hoping it just happens already, this creates a lot of stress and it’s going to feel like an eternity if we make it to the end of the year.

Barnhart “could” last til 2025 but it wont. My estimate is end of summer. They just need to finalize replacing the few random folks. The big groups like disputes, collections, already have dates

I think Barnhart will be closed by the end of this year, if not sooner. I had heard a rumor that the cafe is closing in May of this year. I find it hard to imagine they would close the cafe that far in advance. Rumors about a June 2024 closure have been around for a while

Managers and team leads in Salem today too. Not just Beaverton. They're starting the "downsizing process" we have been told.

Leadership is visiting in Barnhart. I wonder if that’s their reason for being here so soon after their last visit
