Nike’s definitely shifted in a more feminine direction, both in how the brand shows up and how decisions are made internally. It used to be all about that relentless, no-excuses athlete mindset. Now it feels like they’re trying harder to resonate with softer audiences, like women looking for validation no matter their lifestyle. Inclusivity isn’t always good for business. This shift doesn’t exactly scream elite performance. Feels like Nike has lost sight of what made the brand iconic in the first place and are just confused now.
No one dares to admit it, but deep down most people know that there is truth to the saying go woke go broke.
