So Ariba will merge with oCFO?what will happen to csp and all other teams
CK and the iceman just said in an earnings call they could sell the real SaaS solutions, like Concur and Ariba, as a package or separately. Someone will buy a company with a recurring revenue model so likely they will be sold in 2025. SAP never understood SaaS anyway. They think taking your on prem solution to the cloud is the same.
Concur and Ariba are not similar enough to be combined but does SAP leadership really ever have a strategy? Likely the best way to get ahead is to make any proposal that includes layoffs and you’re golden.
Thanks for responding! I guess it is yet another case of wait and see? I wonder if our esteemed CMO will be restructured out of ISBN and SAP?
I’m actually wondering if merging the LOB’s into a single business is a precursor to divesting it?
Not much context can be added but when asked about the rumors of isbn being restructured we got wait till 2025 for more info but blah blah blah restructuring to more align with the targeted csuite
Get out
Was let go in June from Ariba. All comments above are legit!!

I’m very interested in what Manoj said too. Can you add sone more detail and context?
@ejnu+1vGO5vM6 What does it mean? I wasn’t in the meeting so I am not sure what was said and about the full context
So Manoj just confirmed it in the P&E all hands that isbn is being restructured to eradicate the LOB's identities next year :-(
Concur commenting as I’m from APJ where ISBN + Concur. It won’t surprise me if they do this as part of consolidation
Ariba applications will go to S/4. Ariba Network will go to Digital Supply Chain. Many sales folks have already jumped ship.
Procurement and expense management are similar enough to sell and market together?
How will that work? For a merger and layoff to happen the products must be very similar.
Can we get more insights for Concur in this aspect please ?
Hearing same about Concur. Perhaps consolidate the two and reduce bloat?
ariba here. its hard to say. the last restructuring left most of us wondering what we are even doing here. allot of my team members are looking to get out cause we see the writing on the wall. we feel like ariba managers scam sap for a paycheck. they dont actually do anything but hold useless meetings. then when their changes fail they just restructure again and have more ideas that dont work.
