It’s gotten very quiet after the first round of layoffs… I know the email stated that more could happen in DFS in early november.. do we think that’s going to happen?

More layoffs in January 2024
250 in DFS, 89 were AEs and buyers. No more layoffs planned this year or Q1 2024
Ally likes to do their layoffs in waves. Example, maybe 50 this week, 100 next month. Then some quiet time, then maybe another 100 next month.
I have also heard that ally will try to keep quiet during the holidays. But afterwards, around next year another wave of layoffs will happen again. Like someone earlier mentioned, management is keeping quiet.
I got laid off yesterday and know of another from a prior team I was on. Any idea how many yesterday?

Regarding DFS layoffs,,,,we’ve already lost a lot of qualified people that knew their jobs and how to get things done. DFS consists of a lot of folks….Be a little more descriptive criteria….63 1/2 again this time. Stocks tumbling. Enter take the buyout let our stock drops so low we become takeover material…..then no severance.
