Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Interviewing for a director of risk role. Questions please

What's the culture like?
Does truist do hybrid schedule?
What's the salary typically for a director? I put 200 base but don't want to short myself?
How are bonuses? Target %?
Rsrs?

It's been rejected as the salary was too low. They aren't going to get true talent for the peanuts

@eh base somewhere between 170-225 probably. Bonus target 35% cash

RSU on a 4 year vest with a first year dead 25%.

Total Comp around 320-350ish once full vesting.

@eh You have to factor in that you'll only be there for a quarter so it is really 50k + possible severance.

@ed I'm told code 113? Sounds like salary can go to 260. Not sure how often people get close to max or if 220 is doable.

@e8 yes, there are directors, senior directors and managing directors, senior managing directors. I have even seen some executive managing directors. Go interview somewhere else and save your sanity; if you continue to pursue this, we can only assume you are well under qualified and trying to build a resume, otherwise you would have better opportunities than scraping the bottom of the bucket with this bank.

@dh so there are different levels of directors there? What's the next level?

@dh+1jw6wt9cz - LOL! That is the truest statement I've ever seen on this site.

@aw if you have read the posts then you would not be considering this train wreck. But to play along with your troll game, “Director” doesn’t transfer between companies much less between departments. Also this dysfunctional organization does not believe in wage equality between the same position and grade, it is about who you know; therefore, none of us can tell you what to expect because if you have an “in” with the hiring manager you will have a higher salary than someone much more qualified than you.

If you are still considering working at Truist after browsing this board for even 30 seconds, then you should seriously consider checking yourself into the nearest psychiatric hospital.

@aw I wouldn't take the Risk.

Majority of the posts here were made by loyal, purpose-driven, caring teammates.

They came here either to warn, confirm, and/or express what happened to them.

Your question depends on the job grade of the role. Do you know that information?

Not a troll post actually. I've read some others but still don't have answers to all especially the $. You all sound like employees of my institution.

Have you read any of the posts here? Why would you even consider this joke of a company????

OP is a troll post but I'll play along. I don't think you are qualified for that role. Why would you ask a question that you can find the answer to in all the other threads?

Be sure to wear your clown suit. It will be appropriate for that circus! You coming from WF or USAA you’re a lock.
