There needs to be NO exception for a customer (employees too quite factually) to enter a store. NO managers exceptions. The customer can wrap a tshirt around their face. NO MANAGER EXCEPTIONS. I’ve got a family!!

Uh, new flash OP...everyone has a family. And I'm not wrapping a shirt around my head so I can expose myself and get slammed with HUMs and god knows what else.
I'll just order online and skip all that nonsense. Retail is dead, this will be the straw that breaks the camels back. About time too.
No handing in store pickups to someone without a mask. If we are going to do this right, we need to do it right. The one person handing out an in store pickup to someone who refuses to wear a face covering jeopardizes all other employees in that store.
The exception according to the play book is for bill payments. Wrap a tshirt around your face!!
