BNY survivors

I left BNY and every day I'm thankful. What you all are going through to this day sounds awful. I hope you all find something better soon. You deserve it.

PTSD…I guess we’re seeing the trophy milleneals with their participation trophies.

These children have no chance at succeeding.

Beyond thankful I left. Although I still have PTSD from working there. Bad management, horrible culture and living in a constant state of, “is today the day I get let go.” There is better out there.

Couldn't be happier after leaving for another employer. There are absolutely companies who foster and value collaboration and promote true work-life balance.

Same. Much better experience at another bank now. It's literally the cr-ppy culture at BNY. The work itself was bearable.

I left the bank for another bank and should have left sooner. BNY runs on deception and manipulation.

I left last summer and I can tell you with 100% certainty, there are better places to work.
I was skeptical and thought every place would su-k as bad as this dump

Got a job at a much smaller bank that treats me much better, and get this. The bank had a good year and they’re actually giving us a bonus above the target bonuses- they are actually sharing the profits of good year the bank had.

Free coffee too & I have yet to hear them brag about the free coffee

I’m still constantly waiting for something bad to happen at my new job because I was so used them rat ba----ds taking something from me what seemed like every quarter. Reducing benefits, etc..

Yeah. We’re supposed to be in the office four days a week which I typically am but it’s very flexible if you need another day & I don’t mind it because I’m not paying the park and surrounded by je-k offs

And 42…Get a life you lying loser.

Ive been through so many iterations of this place and survived beyond toxic management and stressful workloads over the years.
Although I am looking, there isn't much out there. Kudos to those who got out when they were able. I hope I can do the same!

I’m still at BNY. Unfortunately I was bitten by the terrible management and am now just a Zombie!

Me too! Many of the things you dislike about BNY do not happen at other places.

I left the bank as well, the problem wasn’t my job task or expectations itself. It was management and some coworkers that made it toxic. I had no problem doing the job, it was dealing with management expectations and lack of collegial environment with some coworkers
