Wei-Jen Lo retired from TSMC, and he worked for Intel before TSMC. It is why Intel 18A yield improved right the way.
@fp Yes
Did he pass a physical exam with at least 20 pushup with one hand up in the air and one leg not touch the ground like master PG ?
@eb True, he is here. Is he a former employee? WWID is a low number.
Now you’ll experience he-l on earth.
He is already here. Check Teams before you post, dimwits!
TSMC treats employee very well, and the employees have high level of loyalty.
Intel just uses this phrase to bump up stock: “Intel approaches x-x for Foundry”. It is planned manipulation every a few weeks. Replace x-x by Apple, AMD, Microsoft, TSMC, TSMC retired VP, ……
The articles I've read indicate he would possibly be a consultant. He is getting old to be in an ELT position. Maybe he joins the Board?
He may have to wait two years? "Lo had retired back in July 2025, and he is obliged to a 'two-year' clause which prevents him from working with companies like Intel."
