Personally feeling, it seems like the execs talked a lot but in the meantime it means nothing to me in the end.

@g1 please don’t generalize. I am an Indian and victimized by the same stupid Indian managements.
I wish one day all top heavy Indian managements are removed. It is also true not all but most of them are greedy, egoistic, stupid with very little technical knowledge.

@eb The Indian special (chosen) caste takes over the US and the world. They like to talk about themselves. It's rooted in their genes. Also, consider the amount of gold they wear on ordinary, working days. Yes, you heard right: CASTE. It's all about showing their perceived supremacy. That's why "everyone should know" who the VPs, executives, etc., are, and "everybody should respect and admire" them.
They are perceived as clowns, especially in societies that abandoned caste hierarchy 200 years ago. And in fairness, people are sick of working with them, with very rare exceptions.

Agree, absolutely strange product kickoff meeting - not a lot of information about product, while a lot of information about execs.
Why do we need to know all of these?
