Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Reddit

there used to be an att employee only reddit community. Anyone know if it gem still exists? If not, who’s down to start it back up?

@eau I hate reddit nowadays and here is why. Each subreddit that a decent number of subs turns into a fiefdom on the mods who arbitrarily apply rules and treat it as a personal domain.

it reminds me of wikipedia now, there is no way in hell your contribution will be considered and approved unless it aligns with what the mod wants - it's often petty and ugly. also, it often has a distinct leftist slant, and voicing opinions that are center right (or god forbid 'right') gets you banned, blocked, etc. (happened to me multiple times)...

with this being said, if you think it'll work go for it and let's see what works better

On reddit, you can create a throwaway account that keep you 100% anon and you can post away without fear of retribution, but there are rules in each of the moderated subreddits

What prevents us from using this website? I get the layoffs part, but I do not think anyone minds if we use this site for non-layoff related topics. I've been on it for about four years now, I like the privacy it offers me and it seems to be moderated fairly well (given the anon nature, I actually think it's moderated exceptionally well)...

I am OK with Reddit but I am a bit techy and I still get confused on reddit sometimes... Honestly if this site was to have less ads I think it'd be perfect.

There is a closed group for employee's and the regular ATT reddit that is open and is posted by customers looking for some help on something. The employee site require approved membership.

Still there, /r/ATT 18.4K members, it's unofficial, created 2010, right now 170 members to the subreddit are online, so it's pretty active, and as another said, it looks like retail store employees, and also looks like a customer help forum supported by the community of people, nothing to do with AT&T. Looks like a good place to post things that are off topic to her, and It does have rules: 1.
No posting personal/AT&T internal documents/info
Do not publicly post personal information or AT&T internal documents (such as MyCSP). However, please do tell us where you are from when necessary so that we can attempt to better assist you.

  1. Do not post anything unethical or illegal.
  2. Do not attack or degrade

Do not post anything attacking or degrading to someone else. Keep it civil, this includes the overuse of profanity in a post.

  1. Follow Reddiquette

Please view and read Reddiquette before posting.

  1. No soliciting or spam

Posts soliciting services of any kind (unlocking, AT&T services, etc) will be removed.

  1. Please try to avoid ranting.

Posts made solely to complain will be removed. Please ask a question or make a suggestion and let us try to help you.

It still exists. Mostly retail store employees that post.

Odds are the customers would pollute it with their asks and grunts, kinda like a hostile takeover.
