It is called acting see Dustin Hoffman.
Stop being so gullible.
Also, the captain of the ship can't be a blubbering mess.

Crying of laughter seeing the Nike skims collab which makes no sense

how about a little less crying, and a little more cleaning house, specially the leaders reporting to him?

It is 100% great to be honest, accessible...but it's 6 months and no big (and needed) changes in leadership

No, but usually there are significant changes in the executive leadership team after a new CEO takes the helm.

After all, it wasn’t the prior CEO, solely, who got the company in the mess.
It also sends a strong message throughout the organization that there are going to be significant changes and serves as an opportunity to bring a fresh perspective.

It’s been 6 months and what meaningful changes have we seen?

If liking the CEO was a requirement, everyone would've left with the last one. Telling people who are critical to leave helps no business get better.

If you don’t like the CEO and style, direction of culture, why don’t you do something constructive. Just leave :)

I don’t know any CEO who turned around a trainwreck in less than 6 months.

Help out making things better - he knows how to get it back to a good spot. Then will probably need help getting back to being a growth company.

It's just too much. No disrespect, all for empathy, but what about people that were let go and had nothing to do with the downfall of this company? Those are the ones whose tears I've got compassion for. This is not a family, it's a F500 business. Stop pretending it's something else, makes you sound deranged and delulu. I don't need tears, or maxims chants. I'd welcome clarity on WHY, HOW, WHEN, WHAT.

He’s crying because he came back to Nike out of love, only to realize it’s not the same company he once knew. There’s no going back once a culture is broken. A few people who played the system, climbed the ranks and performed their rehearsed lines on stage don't inspire us. Everyone knows they rarely do the real work. On a daily basis, I see the management level treating people like dust, brushing them off as if they don’t matter. The bloated layer of management is what truly confuses and distorts our direction. Strip that and you’ll finally see the real people, the ones who actually make this company what it is. Why doesn’t Nike recognize those who truly loved it but never got that love in return? The real test of culture is about how you treat the people who show up every day, how you motivate them, and how you earn back their trust

What other subtleties you observe besides this? RTO, no bonus, layoffs or we are starting to come back?

The first time, kay...it's cute. After 2 or 3 times, pull it together. And what's up with the repeat after me stuff? I was expecting the gospel choir to come out and sing some kind of jesus amen song.

Typical complainers on here. If he is emotional you’ll complain about it like a weakness. If he is all business you’ll complain he isn’t personal and lacks emotions and passion.

It’s a lose / lose when people only want to complain and whine about the past problems instead of being part of the solution.

If you knew him any of the years he was at Nike, being emotional and caring is part of who he is. We should like not having an ahole as a CEO.

Also isn't it the third or second time he has cried? why? people did a standing ovation after that? tf is this? oprah's show or something?.
I fear if/when he has to make a harsh call for the company these same folks will cry out loud calling him an imposter.
im just waiting for the earnings call, and what he talks about.
Enough of this crying thing, its ok, emotions come over, but hoping this is the last time.
