The reality is many of us work in teams scattered across the country, with no realistic expectation for increased collocation in the future. If Charlie is gonna keep pushing for RTO because interacting face to face is important, I have to assume he’s going to support budgeting for offsites and business travel. I’ve never met my boss nor several people who report to me. Continuing to “see” each other via Skype or Teams while sitting in different offices provides zero incremental benefit.
