Last week there were layoffs in Brand Creative.
Is this true? Was this an isolated incident or were there more groups that were hit? I find it strange that layoffs happened and we haven't heard a peep about it. Not that I expect the leadership to keep us in the loop, but usually we hear it from other employees.
Can confirm there were layoffs in Creative Brand. Seeing former employees post about it on LinkedIn now. Those employees are calling it a layoff so interprete that as you will.
Not isolated. It's happening everywhere but timed to hide it. Small groups to avoid the WARN Act. This has been happening for years. Some orgs more than others. Welcome to our depression. Don't believe the positive posts. Those are bots or HR.

People were let go last week. It was an isolated incident not related to anyone actually being laid off. In other words it wasn’t a planned reduction. Sorry to be so vague with details but right now the reason for these departures is not public knowledge and I’m not going to spread unconfirmed rumors here. I will say that nobody else needs to worry based on those departures.
