I’ve heard from multiple VPs that layoffs will start next week. My boss usually doesn’t make 1:1s private but she set a private 1:1 set for Friday - the day SAP usually will lay people off. Has anyone else been invited to “private” calls next week?

Private 1:1 means you are history unfortunately. But no worries, you will find something better!
wooho, now it will get exciting with layoffs. Things have been boring lately. Always good for a corp to trim the fat.
Probably the 1:1 call with Deloitte was someone from Deloitte seeing if they could land a job at SAP

People should stop working, do their minimum hours, don't take calls and don't reply to mail. Remember, you are only useful to the company if they think they can replace you! Start looking for another job immediately!
They need to inform the markets only once there is a DECISION. Formally, they can claim that they have not finalized the list of people to sack, hence, no ad hoc needed. Formally. Morally, I see it differently.
With the re-org they would have needed to inform the markets(legally if any layoffs) so I think this is pure BS as this point.
@dpy+1qz1Ceti Interesting... you were in a "private chat" with the company you believe is involved in the decisions being made around who to fire? So... it was just you and someone from Deloitte... what did you discuss? Did they discuss coming layoffs?
Don’t you people ever get tired of all this fear-mongering? It is what it is. Instead of posting things like this, prepare for the call and hope for the best. Worrying about it will do nothing to help. Good luck.
Yes, I also have an invite for a private chat on Friday. Also was in a private call with Deloitte last week - I believe they are consulting in who to fire. Assuming the worst.
