@dv If you are "twiddling your thumbs" at work (your words), I can only imagine what you are doing at home. This company still has way to many people adding little to no value.

There is absolutely no reason to be in the office five days a week. Just look at Supply Chain. We are in the office sitting around twiddling our thumbs because some dou--ebag exec told us that we had to be in the office five days a week.
Which departments are 5 day RTO?
@dn So because some people take advantage of working from home, everyone should be punished for it? Productivity is measurable. If someone isn’t meeting expectations, address that employee’s performance.

@d5 It's time for 5 day RTO. Covid is over. Companies are being forced to trim fat to be competitive and show more profits to shareholders. Time to see who in the company is actually working and delivering value. Some people are actually more productive at home. Sadly, most are not. I was let go this year. When I am out and about during the day, it is eye opening to see how many cars are on the road and how crowded Home Depot, Costco and other consumer businesses are. Either a lot of people have been laid off, or lots of WFH employees are busy running "errands" throughout the day. I think its the latter.
@cb 5 day RTO will happen eventually. It really is unfair to the people who are required to work in person 5 days a week while other groups only work 3. It reeks of unfairness and inequality.
The rumor of returning to five days of RTO has been posted many times on this website.
