No idea, but we're getting IBM offshore teams. Pretty sure that will result in cuts.

@n7 another failure from Yael and Jim. These guys need to be fired immediately.

The original plan was May or June to have all contractors that are not Deloitte off the contract. This had a backlash in leadership. If you had your contract extended recently, it means you are probably "safe" for now through your contract. If you have conversations about being converted with the person that manages your contract, you might be before this goes through. Everything is up in the air, even FTEs don't really know what is going on or the timeline. Everyone is very jaded at this point.

@dn as a contract to hire am I doomed? Still getting the conversion is probable vibe from my boss.

They're consolidating all contractors to Deloitte. And their fantasy. It will be seamless transition, as a 15-year vet that has seen this before, it will take more than 5 years to transition and very little ground will be gained along the way.

Keep in mind Jim is looking for easy wins least on paper. He's implementing strict change protocol which is already a given and now he's going after the various contractors for easy upfront savings. He's way out of his League and brings nothing new to the table
