Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Miss the old days.

I’ve been with the company a long time now. I was there in the days of George and Les. I till this day remember when as a 3rd shift computer operator getting to meet George because he came in to serve us all hot dogs as part of a thank you for what you do. This CEO who took a job for a company based in Wisconsin will NOT move but he insists all his employees do. As an IT professional who has giving a quarter of my life to this company . I just shake my head. No longer will I do that extra bit of work off the clock to help out .

@dkl+1ds8QfZY I'm not the one that posted, but like 99.99% sure that was sarcasm...

@dch+1ds8QfZY Your definition of ethical is far from everyone elses. An ethical decision is something that benefits the populus and not a single individual. I'm not sure how uprooting people's lives, is doing what is best for everyone, and it looks like this only benefits the CEO.

@dch+1ds8QfZY wow, it's basically the same street he lives on.

To put in perspective how out of touch he is with the average employee, on that property he pays $68,267.50 a year in property taxes, the medan pay at fiserv in 2020 was $66,713.

Maybe he won't mind 3000 roommates?

" This CEO who took a job for a company based in Wisconsin will NOT move but he insists all his employees do."

In fact, the new NJ office is literally two miles away from the CEO's house. Totally ethical.

I worked for Fiserv for over 30 years; I left a few years ago. I know exactly what you mean (and also remember Les Muma and George Dalton), and agree with you completely.
