Tuesday's Gone with the wind, but more Tuesday's on the way. Funny how most states have newspaper articles about sites closing down, and good friends/good employees Gone. Last Tuesday was horrible. A local news channel in Virginia covered a story about an apartment complex in Innsbrook sold for $98 million dollars to two out of state financial companies. Interesting, being as that's directly behind the RVA Wells call center who displaced good people last Tuesday, and will be closing it's doors sometime in the probably not so distant future. Those Tuesdays after paydays.

Very true. The square footage is over 326,000. Some in the office say it's already sold? Time will tell. There's lots nobody is telling us. Like you said lies all along. Dominos falling like you describe is a good adjective. Soon all will be displaced there and having worked there will be history. It may or may not look good on a resume when job hunting. But most prospective employers look at solid experience before judging the integrity of where you worked.
Yeah, but getting rid of groups with larger headcount in a building is a major domino falling. Next thing you know they have a harder and harder time justifying the sq footage. Next thing you know it's the old 'we would love to keep you, but the building is closing so, see ya'. Requests to transfer will be denied, and that's when you'll know it was a lie all along.
You guys realize that building is not just a call center, right? There are other groups in the building although they are steadily shrinking. There are trading teams, technology, escalations to name a few.
This post is all over the place. What does the apt complex have to with Wells and layoffs? What's so funny about news articles?
@aq The OP is referencing the Glen Allen campus in the Short Pump/Richmond VA area.
Roanoke?

I guess those people who live in those apartments behind the call center will need to look for a new place to live.
