We need change at the top

It's staggering how Athina remains blissfully detached from reality. Her lack of experience in managing a business of global reach and engaging with a vast workforce was glaringly evident during the S&T townhall. Her direct reports were blindsided, expected to field questions for which she had neither prepared nor could offer insightful responses. Key initiatives like Digital Factory or GBS, where a significant portion of talent resides, went unmentioned. The omission of figures such as Vikram, Mattijs, or the Global Functional Leads underscores her profound disconnection and apathy towards the organization's core.

Athina relegates the concepts of digitization, technological products, and processes to the realm of IT leadership, sidelining the essence of our business—its people and the expertise within our delivery functions. Her "wait until March" stance embodies a clumsy approach that portends disaster. Ramon's dismissive attitude compounds the issue, placing blind trust in Athina while avoiding deeper involvement in S&T matters.

One can only hope that Ramon and the board are aware of these discussions. Athina's vision for the organization only serves to layer on complexity, despite her 25-direct-reports orgchart which she claims will simplify our business. This will leave BU GMs skeptical about aligning with her strategy, especially given S&T PGT's less-than-impressive performance history.

: @dhlc+1qV70eS6.gbs has been an epic failure. We have lost key accounts because their laziness and more will walk away. Digitization is the way to go. But ask what is the vision and where can we get engaged. You will hear silence. There is no team. Only thing... Sap 70s era platform.. good luck in trying to build 22 century AI model on obsolete technology.

Don’t talk without knowing . GBS has the right vision and is the right strategy. Also the knowledge Dr Athina holds in regards to digitization is enormous. It’s the only way to remain competitive nowadays

Haven’t you guys ever seen the brag slides about GBS? They get tasks right the first time 99% of the time. It’s wonderfully diverse also. And on and on.
