If you spent more than you contributed year to date with your payroll deductions, then you are not entitled to what you signed up for, only what you put in year to date. For anyone who spent more than they signed up for at annual enrollment, they will be required to pay that back. This is a government requirement since the money is fronted tax free.
Sorry, what you didn't use by your off the books dates, you loss the balance. Thats what I heard.
Call Benefits Connection, they will get you the help you need. This is not the right forum for your question.
If you're questioning the health care reimbursement account debit card, you could submit any receipts prior to 9/13 and upload on the benefit connections site to get reimbursed. Think aspirin, bandaids, etc that are FSA eligible items.
An HSA should be portable, while FSA is not.
Why should self-pay company insurance be required to “unlock” the HSA again?
Should be ANY qualifying HDHP or high deductible health plan.
It was confusing when it was explained, but you need to sign up for Cobra to get access to the remainder of the funds.
