Having to work 9 hours a day in office for $10k bonus with 60% of it being in stock that vests over 3 years is a real kick in the face and completely out of line with the market

Technically it’s rolled over 4 years, as the “bonus” is supposed to be for the work done in 2024. You won’t see the first 1/3 until feb’26, 1/3 then feb’27 and finally 1/3 feb’28 if you make it that long.
If you don’t want it I’ll take it :)
Majority companies in NZ are doing no bonus this year so some is better than none. Not sure about elsewhere
@df+1jn7174sa Indeed... absolutely id--tic. Underpay people below bonus level and expect to squeeze more work, and then pay people who already get a minimum salary extra.
Cool story. Your pay grade is high enough that you don't need a bonus anyway. What a sh-t model where only high pay grades get bonuses. No wonder FB loves Trumpty Dumpty so much.
Bonuses stoped for us a few years ago. Quit whining. We have NO incentive but to do just enough work to not get fired.
As one who left a few years ago, understand that it takes time to find a new position. Treat yourself well and don't give up. It's a lot of work to find something new.
You have 10K bonus? Feel lucky if you know most don't have any.
After receiving Far exceeds rating, received only $4500 bonus with $1800 as cash and rest as stock.
Post taxes, it’s like receiving less than $50 per pay check.
Worst place for working.
No bonus at all like most of us*
Better than getting no bonus at all. Eat sh-t.
