I'm sure we are all aware by now that I serve underpays their employees. It is amazing to me how much money friends work at competitors doing the exact same job that I do.

@d8+1jsq5rd5y So what you're saying is... Those of us who don't get a bonus that you manage... Should get the fu-k out of here immediately for better, right?
@v1+1jsq5rd5y There is flexibility to work 8 hours between 7 and 7 at least..... Unless your manager has control issues.
It's amazing to me how coworkers who do 10% of the work badly that a normal person does anywhere else gets paid too.
But I'm not complaining, I might be one of them.
I went to a client, making the same but I'm WFH guaranteed 3 days a week, more PTO, better insurance benefits, way better 401K match, flexibility to work any 8 hours between 7 and 7, no excessive monitoring, no constant fear of layoffs... at Fiserv I was averaging 52 (62 if I count my commute x5) hours a week including weekend work at 80k. I'm still making 80k and truly only have 40 (44 with commute) hours a week. So I went from averaging $25/hour counting commute time, to $34/hour.
Calc out your Fiserv salary per hour. Everyone is way overworked... Bet you'll be shocked how litter the per hour comes out to.
I got a 25% bump with no shady 24 month clawback on cash bonus. Cash bonus is real and not split between cash and stock. Stock is still split over three future years though to invest. That part seems to be typical for retention purposes.
I left Fiserv and am now making 20% more, working fully remote, and doing the exact same thing I was doing there. I'm in Georgia.
F-serv grossly underpays. Just Google your job title+salary+region+average pay. You'll end up near the bottom of the scale, maybe 25% from the bottom. If you have several years of experience you shouldn't be that close to the bottom of the barrel. If you look for jobs, not only is their pay range higher than what you're making, but if they post retirement plans they often are matching 5, 6 or 8%.
"Fiserv pays market rate. It is just that every other company pays higher than the market rate."
Yep went to a company making 35k more in product management. Same functions I did at Fiserv
Is your friend job hiring?
Ok..... Anything else to share?.....Like numbers perhaps? What numbers are you seeing at other companies in comparison to Fiserv salar-wise? And for what positions? That would actually make this thread somewhat useful. SMDH.
