He puts on a down home vibe all a costume but he is a corporate parasite who squeezes every penny out of a business without thinking of the impact. Just gets those short term stock gains.
He came out several times and said Verizon has to be agile, nimble, operate like a start up. typical buzz words. not much thought were put into it. this guy doesnt know sh-t. how can you operate a $120 billion company in a saturated mature market like a start up. the only way Verizon will operate like a start up is to break the company apart. Dan is part of the problem, he sat on the board for 7 years and never did he question Hans' strategy. Once things fell apart, Dan is on a road show putting blame on Hans, and trying to act like he has a new idea. he doesnt have a new idea. he is part of the reason why Verizon ended up like this. the entire board of directors should be fired and replaced.
Make no mistake, he is not calling shots. He is the face of the CEO but the direction is being given by an entirely different group of people.

Anyone else watch any of this guy? He can't even look at the guy interviewing him in the eyes, he is always looking away. Tells you he is not trustworthy. Good luck VZW. You're going to need it
