I'm getting so sick and tired of the stress that comes with working for Nike. I am well aware of the fact that grass is not always greener, but how much worse can it be than what we go through here every day? Current leadership is terrible and will destroy the company completely. Good luck to those who are in this for the long run, I'm getting out as soon as I can.

Bear down, man. Gut it out. Don't mean to sound flip but vision the injured runner finishing the marathon or MJ playing in championship with a bad round of the flu. You've got a job and many don't. Compartmentalize to get your daily c-ap done. Work on your resume at night. Be kind to your family. Put out some positive energy to at least one colleague a day-be the reason they don't hate it here. Shut off your racing work brain after hours. You can't control all the mayhem around you, so work on your own self care plan. Move. Write. Create. Restore. Connect. Own it. We are all treading water trying to get thru it.
@1xkw, yes of course that is good. Does not mean people are loving or even liking working at Nike. It is a messed up place.
At the end of the day it’s a job. How many pay checks have you missed? I’d rather be fighting for what we can be than be depending on others to complete me.
Here’s the sad thing...Nike turns so many positive and productive people into people who are cynical and angry. It’s true, If this person leaves, it won’t be noticed, but it’s just so sad how negative the culture is at Nike. It has the potential to be such a great company. Even with the negative culture, the company is successful, but just imagine how much more success they would have if the culture was better?
nike will be fine and won't be destroyed by any leader...they won't even notice you gone. If you don't like the job go get a new one.
Wow! You’re a breath of fresh air - said no one EVER!
@cwo, you must be so much fun to hang out with, mate!
Find another job (if you can with 30 million people out of a job currently) with healthcare. Hopefully they don't lay you off at the new job.
