@3qh hare rama, hare hare hare!
@248 God has spoken!!! Hear him!!!
@248 Hey I’m not going to argue with that correction! The leadership team seems to have a knack for making ridiculously foolish decisions.
@242 "might fumble" -> "will fumble" like everything else they have done.
I’m as skeptical about F5’s direction as anyone, but titan is a case where the project was useful regardless of the outcome of that specific solution. There’s now an ARM port of the core technology stack, and flow offload ability on COTS hardware.
Both of these are affecting future projects (the details of which I won’t call out here on a public forum). Now certainly leadership might fumble these opportunities like they have so many others, but from a technology standpoint it was a move forward.
@cw unlikley to not a chance...
It is a solution in search of a problem to solve.....
Its success depends on how much nvidia endorses it, so far we haven't seen much but maybe it changes, we will see.
@OP judging by the name, yes it will go away. Even the name suggests its fate:
"In Greek mythology, the Titans were powerful deities, the first generation of gods born from Gaia (Earth) and Uranus (Sky). These twelve siblings, including leaders like Cronus, ruled the cosmos before the Olympian gods overthrew them in a great war called the Titanomachy. After their defeat, most were banished to the underworld, Tartarus"
Game over.
