@b1

Underrated comment. During the DEI bonanza of ~2015 the BOD was loaded with DEI hires (alongside the existing useless ol' boys/girls club).

https://ir.usbank.com/governance/board-of-directors/default.aspx

Ask yourself, "how many of them have worked in commercial banking?" Basically none.

The corporate raid strategy was DEI Policy. Plant DEI on the BOD to push DEI influence over Officer positions (a Minneapolis bank after all). DEI hires take over the c-suite. What they didn't (want to) predict was the offshore invasion as most international workers count as people of color and influence DEI quotas/metrics.

When they let go of the visa/offshore fraudsters, they're getting sued for discrimination:

https://www.pacermonitor.com/public/case/59538178/Nallasivan_v_US_Bank_National_Association

And then you have the actual current racist administration who made their entire corporate raid strategy far riskier.

This is what hiring based on skin color rather than merit/experience looks like...They don't know the business, so the only move is aggressively cut costs.

@ct She lives at Four Seasons? No wonder she lives at work. She’s alone in a hotel with her poisonous mind.

@ae Mind you her hubby was shocked a similar car to the one he drives for things like groceries and haircuts recently sold for 500k. He also lives back in PA. She lives in MN at the Four Seasons which is a quick 3 min drive from the office.

In defense of GK. She is doing what the board mandated her to do and pay her to do. Reduce expenses and get the efficiency ratio down. They are not d-mb. They didn't hire a consultant with little banking experience for no reason. It was obvious from the get go she was AC's hare apparent. This was always going to happen be it GK or someone else.

@ar The thing is you never really know anyone you come across at the store, on the street or at work. They could be crazy or they could be a good person. Chances are 50/50 in all situations. In this case we have a crazy person pulling strings from the top and the rest of us are barely trying to stay alive just to keep up and everyone is angry at this point.

@a1 honestly I see threads removed when people load their posts with racist rants. Gunjan is evil but race isn’t the problem, it’s capitalism, greed and corruption. What’s really upsetting is how many racist and somewhat violent remarks I read and worry that might be from someone who sits near me.

@ae I agree with you. With that being said, GK is a cold hearted person. She did this just so she can get that huge bonus. All for herself. No care in the world and she just shattered so many lives of hard working people. She knocked us all even further down. Probably smiling. That’s what psychopaths do.

After a record breaking year of profits, the only one that has anything to truly show for it is GK. Has her bonus for this year been announced? Is it true she is eligible for 275% of her salary as a bonus?

I don’t know how people like that can sleep at night pocketing millions of dollars as a bonus at the same time you’re denying people an extra $700 a year messily raise because they work from home. On top of that, let’s also change their geographic location to a lower cost of living state and cap out their salary based on that range instead of where they actually live.

1% of her bonus split among many would have made a huge difference in a lot of people’s lives. Imagine if all of the MC said, “You know what, I want to give 1% of my bonus back to the pool for the staff. Especially after our very profitable and cost cutting year!”

Yes, I know that is a fantasy. But hey, one can dream can they not?

So, GK, while you drive around in your Ferrari, just know that you have staff that are really worried about how they are going to feed their families with the cost of everything going up.

Your decision to change geo and cap salaries has cost my family over 20k in potential raises over my tenure to get to mid point. Now, I’m capped where I am with no room to rise, move or transition without a miracle coming through for a position suitable for remote employees.

In other words, to keep your comments out of the mod graveyard, just stick to basic internet etiquette - skip the slurs, threats, personal attacks and over-the-top profanity. If you have an issue with leadership’s actions, call out what they did without throwing around insults.

Like this OP did with characterizing the sentiment of an email rather than focusing on the person who wrote it.

Copy-pasting someone’s post about deletions:

  • posts don't get deleted because some corporate clown dislikes them
  • posts do get deleted for for ToS violations, like if:

  • a lot of f-words are used

  • personal insults are used
  • if a non-public person is named (or initialed)
  • some posters might get banned/can’t post for a while, i guess changing IP helps with that one.

@OP HR and Gunjan were upset we talked poorly about her so they removed it. There is so many of us and not enough of them to make us stop. She’s unqualified for her position and doesn’t know how to run a company. It shows by all of her recent actions.
