Long story short I was a part of the Unified Communications team. I was given the change to move over to Infosys. Two folks from my team moved to Bvoip. Thats a story for another day (connections).
I thought at&t was worse but I can says Infosys is equally as bad. Is anyone enjoying their time at Infosys?

@cm+1k0qyvpxb Verizon tried to do this in 2018. They rebadged about 1500 people with a take it or terminate, no severance, deal. However about 500 didn't want to go and since the company, smart as they are, were also offering a voluntary separation with enhanced benefits to other departments, the 500 threatened suit and the company backed down. Those 500 got their enhanced severance. Sometimes the number impacted helps.

@cf I over heard someone in my office talking about a friend who worked for GE in in a similar situation. Was asked about moving over to Infosys after working for 35 years in a senior engineering role. Well, she declined so GE laid her off with no severance. Yikes.
I think we all will be replaced. Regardless of Infosys or At&T. I look around and think to myself that all of this can go overseas. Its the sad reality but we have to be willing to except the facts. Send all government work to Infosys and outsource everything else to India. I'm in the same boat as the OP. Different team but got f'd over and sent to Infosys. 4 person got transferred to another group at at&t the rest got laid off. I'm 57 and burnt out. Ready to retire if I can hang on for a couple of more years.
I just really hate my life. I honestly thought Infosys would be better, boy was i ever wrong.
You’ll soon be “moved to” the unemployment line…as will many of us.
You are there until you’ve shared your info with the offshore or H1Bs and they you are bye bye. Rebadged is a nice way of terminating folks and offshoring without it hitting the radar. Better get your resume updated and start applying because you are about to have no job.
