Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

@Confirmed_Souces_Say

Do you even work here or are you just naive. Layoff was not performance based just like pay/merit is not. Zero reward for performance so why would lay offs be based on performance. When VP level managers don't even get a chance to help guide these decisions like who gets laid off on their team there is a huge problem. Shows the lack of trust higher leadership has with the people that they put into positions of leadership and trust. Not sure how these decisions were made when I have seen many high performers walked out the door like criminals while many free loaders remain. Tell me how that fits your narative? You can't work here if you truly believe this was performance based. Butt in seat doesn't equate to performance, results do.

They forgot that we work here and interact with our coworkers. We know the people who were let go and the people who remained.

They only know the numbers on the spreadsheet.

They do not know that the numbers on the spreadsheet are different than employee performance. They will continue to wonder why output is going even after removing the "low performers".

Keep cutting. You get some of them eventually!

@hkm+1vB8r3sy we know your parents support you but yes look at average income in your area. Not everyone has a spoon in their a-s. Having a good job is better than none.

It's ok. A majority of you are weak. It's ok to feel that way when negative events happen. Now, when you feel better realize the Csuite does not give a fk about you. So, go on glass door and give them one star and leave negative reviews. If your still employed leave a negative rating on the executives. A business that can't hire and has pi---d off employees will have a boards attention at the c suite level. They make millions. However, their big paychecks are only as solid as their reputation and confidence with the board AND the investors. Go fk with that and you directly fk with their money. Thats the only thing they understand.

It's not that the C-level doesn't trust the managers; it's that they don't want to allow anyone else to make a decision. They're control freaks who would rather drive (another) company into the ground than relinquish any control.

It's all the corporation's fault that: you voluntarily applied to it, joined it, and were fired after all of the game changing work you delivered in exchange for a salary of double the area average.
