Goodness gracious, how did this marketing scheme ever get approved?! If the objective was to make us look like blathering id--ts, it was successful. Clearly there's some dead wood in marketing, branding, HR, and executive roles involved with this boondoggle.

Wells Fargo pretends to care about their employees, and also pretends to be a bank.
Now it is clear that the execs want to get out of providing long-term debt (mortgages) and into providing short-term debt (credit cards and car loans). This might be due to CS's familiarity with credit cards with his stint at Visa. Wells Fargo is becoming a super big Synchrony/Discover/Capital One. Splendid.
I have a couple of questions here. Were personas ever created at Wells Fargo? Did anyone on this board ever do anything resembling product development? Or has everything been at the whim of the CEO?
