Just saw a job posting for Displacement Advisors to join the “newly created Displacement Advisory Group within Human Resources.”
So that’s just swell.

Epic comment and so Fing true.
The irony…hiring manager is listed as Remote.
There’s so many open issues and lack of controls, processes, and compliance with displacements. If displaced, look into filing litigation.
Lmaoooo this is like when they told us to run fewer errands to save money on high gas prices 😂 it’s the tastelessness for me
Wasn’t there always a displacement group, or at least multiple people within HR who were hired specifically to manage layoffs? I seem to remember a job description on LinkedIn.
And in this role, you will be required to self-displace as your final task, in about 6-12 months!
Again, if they took volunteers for layoffs, everyone would be far happier!
@nxw+1lxjpbLI Imagine the irony of having to discuss your displacement with someone based in India after being fired due to location strategy
I'll do that job, and do it for free. Fire every executive in NYC. Presto, I just saved the company $50M+/yr.
Well at least someone besides marketing is hiring.
It looks like there is a displacement support position posted in India also.
Non hub city layoffs most likely coming. Anyone know how long that planning process takes?
