Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Presence Report is wrong, again . . .

I was shorted 5 hours over 2 days last week. I checked the Presence report against the system log that is on my computer, as well as the records I keep on my own. I match up with the computer syslog. The presence report is way off. Everyone needs to keep their own records because ATT is not competent enough to keep the correct records.

@ce Yes, you are 💯 correct. Exempt employee's time is illegal to track. This category of employees were created as t was impossible to account time of the art, science jib tasks. Exempt employees is nit getting overtime, but their time is not allowed to track ir control. Law says that exempt employees must be converted to hourly as soon as employer starts to track their time.

Problem is even DLP has also errors in logs and missing data, which HR is not accepting and accusing employees in name of investigation done. Still if employees did 8 hours from any where and their manager didn’t give any warning then it should not be marked under COBC. If you wish then terminate them, its your company. But whole point is why to shame a person based on these reports, who dedicates himself to your organization and they are really good in work.

Badging out has nothing to do with it as we all badge out daily and report is still inaccurate week over week over week and we have sys logs that show's it's inaccuracies but they refuse to correct the report..

CSO has DLP Forcepoint software on your computer. Look at the bottom ICONS Forcepoint is the green icon so open it up and go to log view second selection on drop-down and you can see when you logged in and out to Corp everyday. It has issues also somedays with missing data but most days it has data and is accurate.

Its fine if AT&T want to terminate their employees due to their financial issues and they want to save some money. They should take some other route instead of putting their employees in bad names.
Terminating good employees and putting them under COBC and compliance issues and not rehirable does not looks ethical in the professional world.
If employees done some misbehave , abused or fight with someone or did some data breach then it would have fine.
But when its well known that report is broken, employees worked for 8 hours from anywhere, they have not enough space in office, employees support out of office hour works still putting their employees in bad name leads a bad example.
Its really surprising to see we didn’t see any lawsuits against this yet. Seems everyone accept this unethical AT&T behavior.

We aren't allowed to enter tickets for correction anymore; has to be done by our boss/manager/supervisor/whatever you want to call him.

I worked there 16 years. Left for a new company that treats me like an adult and have never been happier. This nonsense with tracking time is out of control. You should all go be happy there is #lifeoutsideofatt. Heard it here first! Run. Go.

Mine is incorrect also…I’m only created with being in 3.5 hours and a coworker is showing that she logged in and out at the same time… I’ve filed tickets before and they never correct their error or respond to the ticket!

Yes, even if a ticket is created and you send them CSO DLP Forcepoint which shows when logged into Corp and logged out they won't fix the past week's errors.

Yep. last weeks report was a real doozey showed people coming in and leaving in 15 minutes in late afternoon and two days had no data at all. Instead of seeing improvement in the quality of the report data the quality is digressing week over week. Not sure why they can't get it together. Pick a new way to track as current methods are a mess and not working

I’m no longer at the company but after 25 years in HR I need someone there to know that tracking hours for Exempt employees is totally illegal and someone needs to file a class action lawsuit.

Every time I say this the post gets deleted which affirms my stance even more .

My manager recommended we stay a few extra hours instead of leaving after 8-9 hours. Sadly I have and it’s still stealing hours to keep us aggravated.
This is the culture our leaders accept as they sell us how wonderful we are.

5/19 and 5/20 seems to be an issue for all. These clowns are so incompetent that they can't get a basic garbage in garbage out sort of logic correct. They think they are data scientists trying to model and getting it wrong everytime
