The one thing just about everyone at work agrees on is that we don’t want to be here. Different teams, different roles, different backgrounds, and yet nearly everyone’s dream is to leave Humana, the sooner the better. That alone says a lot about where we are as a company right now.

I love my position and my job. I’m extremely happy. I do think it’s position and manager based. I was part of the last RIFTS to happen and changed positions and have never been more grateful.
@cc I can please let me!! Oh wait…. I’m “ critical “!😡
A lot of the folks who received the offer can’t retire yet either!
@c8 Please take it. It may keep someone who cannot retire in a job.
Well I have changed my mind at least 10 times today if I’m taking ERP or not. I want to work 2 more years. I would like to leave on my terms. It’s not the same company, we used to put our members first and now it’s just a money game. It is very sad to watch this happen to such a great employer at one time.
@OP Certainly Humana is not the company it used to be. There was a time it was desirable to work here. Good pay, good conditions. That all changed. Humana is not doing well, just watch the reports. Managed care is taking a tumble. If you don't think so you aren't paying attention.
I agree with this post 100%. The environment is toxic. I want out, but know my age is a barrier getting another job. Even leaders are verbalizing how bad it is going to get.
I agree the company is not doing well however I have been here for a long time and my goal is to eventually retire from here but on my terms. I hope that can happen. I love the team. I’m on and pretty much like the department. I am in. I have been eligible the last two times but would not take it because of how the job market is. I’m 55 in a technical role and there aren’t a lot of options out there. Hoping for six more years.
Well said!
