With the many, many, many layoffs under Charlie, which seem to have targeted older employees, do we know if the workforce has changed enough to lower the average age of employees? To me, the place feels much younger now than it did just five years ago, but I could be wrong. It's just an impression.

When you get laid off it displays the ages of all that were displaced with you so you can’t use age discrimination against them. (Not saying that they don’t use it) #ageism does exist
They tried to safe and effective every one of us to save money on severance, so yeah, that's very possible.
You better believe they target the 61 - 64 year old employees for layoffs. Once you hit 61 years old the algorithm tees you up and begins to evaluate you relative to salary range and age relative to your co-team members. Medical expense start to go up for 61+ age employees….
To Charlie, use this method to layoff. He can clean the house overnight

I see a single individual has been busy upvoting/downvoting. Anyone can clear their cache and do the same thing.
So brave, anonymous internet user @ca+1jh23q522...
@c9+1jh23q522, Ok, six sigma id--t.
I wouldn't say they targeted older employees, per se, but by targeting employees with more years of service, those with higher salaries, and those in remote locations (and who've likely been around longer), they may have disparately impacted older workers.
From what I've personally witnessed as a displaced employee - 98% of the people they laid off in our group were over 50.
Nah. Just the average IQ of folks on this forum whom identify as victims.
Good to see the age discrimination bigots are here. Wonderful.
Yeah right, 1% increment of young folks and you call that. Still way too many old folks.
It was about the higher pay those folks got, if anything. Correlation does not imply causation.
Yes, I have noticed that there are a lot more Indians here than before.
Not sure about age but more Indians for sure.
Haven't noticed, but then again I don't really pay attention to the random people I might run into in the office.
