Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Something is Cookin’

There’s been a lull in posts the last few weeks (especially considering PIP season) and suddenly this page is flooded with basic, off topic posts.

This can only mean something was mentioned that needs to be hidden.

Their posts remain and ours are pulled down. They see them and know we are not buying it, even when they remove ours.

Just so many over 55 year old employees PIPd the posts are redundant. It would be hilarious if XOM had to rehire the people they ran off because the play ing field would be laid even & equal with this low cost cr-p countries! Maybe the "man" should go live in one of those places!

If you're in Europe and not based at a manufacturing site, then you’ll be leaving soon… no inside info, just honest opinion.

What we would like to know is what was agreed for the Pioneer folks who are over 55? Are they still applicable to 15 years service or what. We know folks over 60. What are they hanging around for?

Hahaa. Yep @bd is the H/R troll trying to dissuade people from posting on Layoffs.

And yet you continue to read the posts and spend enough time looking for patterns. Makes me think that you are with Public Affairs and Government, H/R, or the Project Executive assigned to monitor THE LAYOFF.COM

@OP There’s been nothing of substance posted here since 2022.

It’s always been rants, gripes, tirades, and good old-fashioned trolling.

Nowadays, it’s mostly just the same guy whining about DEI on every thread. That and REs blaming people in India for the company’s outsourcing. People got sick of it and went elsewhere.

It is odd that there were randomly 19 posts today that weren’t really typical layoff posts. Here’s a fun one, the NSI rate for executives in finance this year was greater than 15%. Haven’t heard people talking about that. Anyone notice a lot of finance retirees recently?

You guessed right. Public & Government Affairs, Management, and Human Resources are actively posting "disinformation" on this forum to bury accurate information.
