@7shb+1u2scpQJ Spot on, as predicted it was all lip service. The renaming and soft shuffling of the businesses was the usual smoke and mirrors. Nothing changes.
The attempted selloffs likely failed because of ridiculous valuations or just plain incompetence.

If it was me and I was serious on improving the overall business I would cut my losses and focus on simplification. That means saying goodbye to IA, get what you can for the business units and/or IP then go hard on the remaining business groups which are far more coherent. Its time to prune, simplify, regroup and get the house in order.

VK has made excuses for the poor performance of IA the last couple of quarters. Investors will be expecting to signs of a turnaround. Will also be looking to see greater alignment of SBU’s with overall business strategy. Ie. The sales of businesses that don’t fit. So far there has been little progress in any of these areas. The pressure on VK will be starting to ramp up, and I’m sure this will feel its way down to employees.

Mad Dog and that cheapskate skinflint TM ruined Aero.

Just remember VK will use any means necessary to boost financials at the EOY!
Clock is ticking for him.

Aero employees have always been the loudest here. The furloughs, layoffs, and promotion freezes have been paused due to legal compliance problems and product delivery issues that require manpower to fix. Manpower that they laid off and PIP’d out and now have to pay 25% to 50% more in base salary for less experienced workers.

@5qni
I also watched the IA Townhall. I'm certainly hoping for a layoff. Business is so slow right now and I'm not seeing the supposed ramp up that IA management has been calling for all year. I've got my next gig lined up and am partially working on it now. A transfer bonus would work well for me. Good luck to the rest!

Most of the damage in IA is self inflicted. The majority of businesses have been mismanaged to the point of no return.

I watched the IA town all. The financials didn't look great. Any hope of layoff's later this year?

HW loves to implement new "Cost" savings measures in late Fall. Fat tax probably going to double. Cut 401 in half and freeze 2025 MIP and raises. Tough times call for tough measures.

One can expect procurement freeze coming soon too. I bet on Week 40-45.

Wonder when we start paying for toilet use or water in kitchen.

Would that include yourself since you are apparently still working here?

As someone who miraculously escaped the great talent cull of 2018 to 2022 I can bare witness that there are only simps now remaining at Honeywell.
People that can not believe they got a job in a large corporation (and definitely should not be here).
I would not expect much complaint from these guys, they earn far beyond their ability.
The mission has been completed, from here on Honeywell will be slowly wound down as they extract what remaining value/assets they can. I and many others can clearly see the path being laid for divestment.
