Definitely have your own phone and laptop. This assures privacy for whatever you do online including a job search. Also if you get laid off you have everything ready to go for a job search.
@by here. I get it. I saved personal stuff too and was laid off last year and had to deal with legal costs to navigate the risks of having moved them off my computer and Nike being pi---d about it. Def do not recommend going through what I went through.
They will send you your personal items, just give it time, it’s part of the exit process.
I kept ALL personal on my own laptop (not work) and got a second personal phone (nope no MDM or whatever).
Best decision ever when I got laid off. Here's your phone and your laptop, easy I don't care about them.

It’s all good. Nike’s digital assets have never been protected mostly because there is no valuable intel or innovation to steal!
HR waits until exit interviews to over-inflate security efforts as an intimidation tactic. It’s almost unbearable not to laugh in their faces watching them struggle to garner authority where I’ve witnessed its absence for over a decade. Keep that manipulation for your family and embarrassing personal life.
@by for those of us who saved a casual personal item to our computers like car insurance, kids school schedule etc, you are locked from your devices after your meeting. It’s too bad you assumed the worst from people trying to steal intel. This was meant to heed warning for actual personal items that have nothing to do with Nike at all people may need. Have a nice week…..working from home.

It’s against policy and you CAN forfeit your severance doing this. They will send you your personal stuff, put it all in a folder marked personal. iT goes through and makes sure it’s not a legal risk to share and then sends you your files in drop box.
DO NOT EMAIL OUT OR USE A USB! They will see it and BEST case delays severance and you have to bring in your personal devises for them to wipe.
Def not just product and marketing, global and geo merch, Dot,Com, innovation, plenty of other areas are impacted
It only affects white guys. Minorities are fine for now, unless leadership drops DEI KPIs.

No, all departments minus Tech from the May layoff are part of this layoff. VP level and above already occurred. If you had poor rating scores you were last to be placed in all new roles or the re-org shuffle. You also will be provided with a reason for your layoff if you ask. The answers to those are quite honest. You should save your personal files to your own device….now
In tech, was laid off in June. So no.
