@3ca If you are on the east coast, you are the one on this forum at 9am complaining about everyone else. Lacking self awareness-check.

@1e7 Again, you are an example of the people who will complain about everything no matter who you work for. Everyone including your employer is wrong, or unfair or it’s their fault, not mine. You write your own destiny so perform, find a new job or just keep blaming everyone other than yourself. This company has done me right for 20 years but I own my experience

@by this is exactly correct. There are many in positions like this especially at the 113 and 114 levels in IT.

One thing that has helped people stay are the ones who have been promoted through this merger. There are a lot of over paid people working in IT. Many of them at 113 and 114 working as individual contributors. Though I have seen some leave the bank for better opportunites even after being promoted to these levels. Also, what is expected from some at these levels is not much so they are over paid and don't need to do much work. On top of that some can work remotely.

@br What do you mean "no cap on bonus"? From what I have seen and experienced, the bonus is a percentage of your base salary.

@1dv "and you have to put in effort to be recognized and compensated." This is not true. It is not true at all and you know it.

Work is not meant to be a utopia, this place is devoid of any virtue or fact based performance metric.

You know what I say is true because you wouldn't need to come here and post what you did if it weren't.

Don't forget to screenshot your post so you can get some purpose points.

I want to provide for my family and work for a company that is rewarding. It’s crazy how many people complain about everything on this site. These are the same people who will do the same no matter who they choose to work for. Not every day is fun, not every day is easy but it’s work and you have to put in effort to be recognized and compensated. This company has done well for me and my family for the last 20 years.

Capabilities and compensation. The capabilities on the commercial bank are good, not great but good. There is no cap on your bonus and many other peers cap their bonus. Ameris and Pinnacle cap your bonus at a % of salary. Bank of America limits the upside on your bonus too. I have heard that Chase bonus pay is not that great as well.
