Any idea what exactly F5 means when it calls itself "Human first approach". This must be "Leadership first approach". The layoffs happened just to shift the investments to AI, basically they can direct good employees who are laid off to the AI work with minimal training.

@OP It is a PR strategy driven by HR. Profit-First approach is at its core since FLD took over, and FLD himself told the transformations under his leadership would come with pains. On early days, Kara had declared to "get out from the bus" for anyone did not agree with the leadership, and now, I guessed they just don't bother to ask your opinion. From the last earning, this company is still supported by the classic BIG-IP ($240M from Hardware sales +$402M from Services (support and PS) + I bet a good chunk from Software as well), which is the result from the previous leadership. We know the result of this leadership for BIG-IP Next after all these years. The board is certainly very friendly to FLD, because the measurement is simple: profit. There is no incentive for the Human-First approach here.
@bw It's up there with "diversity and inclusion" which means unless your of Indian descent in certain organizations, you have little to no chance of promotion.
@OP Human First is right up there with Good Enough used as a release criteria. Ask for details about each and there are none provided
