We are 2 orders of magnitude in GDP away from such a utopian economic model. If you want this your economy has to be 100x larger or there need to be 100x fewer people. The culture is hard at work to make both happen.

Stankey’s so called failed deals were structured so that the intended recipients got paid. Someone always gets paid. The recipient of the DTV, Uverse, real estate holdings, etc. is TPG. Draw the short lines to follow the grift. They’s based out of Texas for pete’s sakes.
The game is simple; T, the parent holding company purchases the asset, keeps the debt, and gifts the spoils to TPG for an enormous discount. TPG and its investors, hidden within the LLC’s, reap the rewards. Their portfolio is literally filled with the spoils purchased from AT&T.
