We were told yesterday that most of IT was going to be outsourced. No specific dates were given but we were told to start looking for new opportunities.
How long are the layoffs going to drag out?
What other changes/ layoffs are coming after today
If HR said they were choosing people based on some performance criteria, that may be cause for legal action. RIFs are supposed to involve eliminating positions, not people. Everyone knows how it really works but they aren’t supposed to say it out loud.

Each division has been given $$ targets to ax. The purge continues with Bill Roger’s continuing to institute Suntrust processes and policies. It may have started with Wealth but this is just the beginning. He is slashing and cutting to save his a-s.

Beyond the wealth and commercial RM’s … what other layoffs are we looking at?
Additional cuts to Wealth management and some support staff. The cuts affecting commercial RMs and support staff begin Monday.
