Verizon and TMobile and that gap is widening. AT&T doesn't have the balance sheet strength to grow and much of their debt is backed by write offs due to DTV and TWX acquisitions. On the other hand Verizon and TMobile can grow as much of their debt is backed by superior spectrum positions to that of AT&T. AT&T should be going full throttle but they can't and the runway is fast coming to and end. Doesn't seem like the best strategy though to be a wireless telecommunications company trying to sell mobility and speed yet treating your employee base like children setting up gates, nap time, and giving them cheerios if they are good.

any company that are puppets of the WEF and their global masters are nothing but tyrants.
att is a cesspool
Can we just be better humans and understand that wireless is causing the current national insanity? The world was easier in so many ways before everyone was glued to their wireless devices. It needs to be locked down like we did for the last national health emergency.
You don’t understand the network very well, and I doubt you are competent with hand tools or digital ones, so your insults fall flat. By all means though keep upvoting your own posts.
Total wireless companies aren’t burdened by wireline but they have contracts to use AT&T’s which, has the largest fiber network in the U.S. If you understand how communications network works then, you would know that. All Cell towers are connected to wireline ie.. fiber/copper also, 911 & FAA circuits use it. Wireline is still the gold standard for business, hospitals, govt., backup circuits, etc.. The transport facilities/equipment are in the midst of a decades long transition from copper to fiber. Happened many decades ago when Iron wire was transitioned to copper. Technology marches on.
Wireline doesn’t have dead spots, latency, sun, cloud and environmental interferences like wireless, satellites and other alternative communications do. Wireline isn’t going anywhere as the backbone for the network.
@Morpheus
As usual you are another employee who doesn’t understand that Fiber is part of wireline. Do better.
" I can’t understand why this leadership hasn’t ripped the bandaidniff and gotten rid of the albatross that has been wireline for years. "
Probably because wireless is the future and no one is going to invest in an outdated and poorly maintained wireline system. Who would they sell it to ?
@bqv+1qNv6w67 a lot of it has to do with federal, state, and local regulations. One of the reasons VZ and TMo are doing so well is because they're not burdened by maintaining dinosaur technology.
I can’t understand why this leadership hasn’t ripped the bandaidniff and gotten rid of the albatross that has been wireline for years. A non profitable business with the longest tenured employees that keep hanging around while those in profit centers are targets of layoffs.
Why do you stay?
