Oh @bq how heartless, peoples lives are complicated, kids, community, church, friends, family, parents, etc. - it's not that easy to unpack all of this and move close to work. And there is always fear of being laid off.

@bs Not true. Some were hired with no offices anywhere near them and their location in successfactors is listed as TC-Telecommuter under Organization Info.

@bq my understanding is that remote workers have a primary office associated with them (see success factors). That's where they will be reporting, not necessarily NY or LA. Paramount has many offices around the US and the world.

You have to come back to the LA or NY office 5 days a week in Q3 2026, end of story.
If you live far away they have given you time to sell your house and move closer, or find a new job. For that you should be grateful.
