Most likely it is just ineptitude by HPE and they just are blaming the Russkies.

While I worked at HPE with ArcSight, Meg Whitman gave the ArcSight SOURCE CODE before the merger to MICRO FOCUS to Russia and nothing happened to her. How can you have IT Firewall like ArcSight when you give the source code away?? She should be arrested for treason.

https://www.hpe.com/us/en/solutions/security.html NOT!!! Go ahead and shut down your computer security division, GreenLake is gone. Close the doors, you chose MS products, shame on you. HP no longer innovates, don't let the door hit you, where the good lord split you, on the way out... So they bought CRAY, once again did not innovate... Just assimilate...

Several Cray supercomputer systems are listed in the TOP500, which ranks the most powerful supercomputers in the world.

HPE bought CRAY few years ago.

Russian may be after this technology or get into different sites after hacking HPE z servers.

OVK: Who is praising hackers? The OP was ripping HPE, although this is more an issue with Microsoft than HPE, which is just a user of its products. HPE was just transparent enough to acknowledge it. More companies to come, I promise. A hack with passwords at Microsoft isn't limited to HPE.

LOL! Probably not Russians, most likely just script kiddos. HPE's security posture is laughable!

@bnk

I don't care about your opinion of HPE but successful Russian cyberattacks is nothing to praise. They can get your personal information, take your money, and pretend to be you. Then you'll wish HPE had better security.
