They are laying off people from expeditors as of today in Bellevue. At least two known reports on Reddit. /Ask Seattle.

@bg go fu-k yourself. Sincerely a still employed coworker.
It’s accurate. Most are a result of a bloated GT department and folks still loyal to previous CIO. Ultimately, this company (corporate specifically) is over run with entitled Seattle id--ts who believe this company somehow owes them something. The spirit of what was once a strong culture has eroded to bend to the wills of these entitled and talentless hacks. Hopefully this purge will help right the ship and send a message.
@b7 Not all scrum masters. The person I talked to today is a senior project manager and is not being laid off, though at least one other I know was indeed laid off.
Just heard from friends there. I'm recently retired. EXPD has long had a "no layoffs" policy that they recently (since the first of the year) walked back from. Reports from friends inside say 250 people in the Global Technology group (IT, essentially), including management. I haven't heard about timing/severance.
I'm glad I retired when I did.
I've heard 250 total but don't have an exact count. Positions range from development, support, director, and managment (I believe all scrum masters as well).
The meeting at the end of the day was just "Today has been hard" the end.
