It might be the cost of doing business, but an unskilled workforce with poor work ethic is driving the place into the ground. Our political overlords just don't know the destruction their causing here. The last 2 financial melt downs were directly caused by their meddling, however they won't take ownership for it.

Wait to see what it does for all the public and private pension systems.
"an environment where name calling/racial slurs/and fighting is tolerated"
What team does this? I want in.
@bfl+1hv4zSu8 Let me guess, there are no "crazies" on the left?
@vzc+1hv4zSu8 The point to DEI is to promote fairness. The tactics are unfair. DEI needs to go.
not a level playing field if they only hire one group
Hold up, things not ki----g the bank:
- the assets cap
- the fact the bank committed actual fraud (more than once)
- it's subpar benefit packages not attracting top employees
- it's RTO policy driving away employees and not attracting top employees
- the loads and loads of red tape that does not allow change
- the entrenched mindset of employees that does not allow change
- the constant fear of being laid off so employees information hoard and throw each other under the bus
- the poor handling of the agile transformation
- C suite leadership who has no long term interest in the bank or the bank's customers
- an environment where name calling/racial slurs/and fighting is tolerated
What is ki----g the bank:
- DEI
Got it. Makes total sense/s
Yep all those white JPM men have had nothing to do with this fe--s show. Considering we had to "pause" our DE&I because WE WERE NOT DOING IT I sure was the problem LOL
Why can't the crazies on the right use "they're" correctly?
So diversity candidates equate to unskilled? This attitude is why we even need a DE&I office.
DEI is just one of dozens of metrics and issues compounded into ESG scoring. I think ESG is more accurately bloodletting (not yet quite ki----g) the bank, and other similarly sized enterprises, by having them race to the bottom in a death match of who can most get distracted from performing their core business. The real "ki----g" takes place when every other stakeholder out there becomes more important than the Customer and the Shareholder.
But just in the nick of time, there is an arbiter on the horizon. A deep bear market and a recession that includes layoffs as part of the economic pullback make a great test to see who will and won't keep playing the virtuous ESG game.
They're versus their. Try learning the difference.
In an ideal world there is nothing wrong with DEI, but at Wells and most other companies and governments the illiberal (aka self described liberals) use it to sell their reverse discrimination policies.
DEI at Wells can be described as....Discrimination Exclusion and Inequity
The legacy team members are the only thing keeping this sh-t show going. 1 legacy headcount adds more value than 1000 DEI hires.
"Our political overlords just don't know the destruction their causing here."
It's not the DEI hires who are the mo--ns here 😂
Just give it a rest with the paranoid conservative trolling, you've made your d-mb point clear. Normal people can resist injecting politics into everything, Qtards should try it too.
DEI hires aren't the problem. Mediocrity occurs throughout our workforce and, if anything, less among those in diverse groups that the legacy group. Blaming DEI is just compensating for some other shortfall.
Go somewhere else to whine about a level playing field.
Wells will finally discover what CPT means soon enough.
I have to wait 24 hours for anything to be done in many cases.
