Aruba have >5 x more staff than Juniper with a similar profitability thanks to massive cuts already done by Elliot Investment Group. So...
Most 1st world countries (apart from US) have protections for employees of the company being acquired. Doesn't mean there will not be packages created to work around the employment protections, but I feel most would gladly take a golden parachute out of this mess. Don't worry about it.

Heard today of a big re-org coming down. This is very typical cleaning out house before the next fiscal year.
So much gas lighting. Who cares? If you are good at your job, you will easily find another.

Yes. You’re in denial of your think there will not be significant layoffs. I was with HPE for 30+ years and they will absolutely lay off their own staff when they merge.
I would expect significant layoffs on both sides prior to employee day 1 in November. They'll likely spend the rest of the summer firming up planning, then the axe will start swinging in September.
We don’t know yet, I believe the actual decisions about reorg will take place in the next few days.
