@OP so real! Was told in March of upcoming job loss. Didn't get the actual cut til late July. The waiting was awful and certainly caused riffs in the team dynamics and everyone turned pretty cut throat towards each other as a result.

Does anyone actually know it’s tomorrow for sure. I heard in July it would be the 15th for 2 weeks, then nothing happened and layoffs were July 29 instead.
@ct NAM KYC is being offshored to Columbia and Costa Rica. If you are in NAM expect cuts. I heard next year OPs will be hit. Many NY KYC people already were let go with their replacements coming from LATAM.
Why do you think wednesday? I also hope it ends sooner than later.

Our KYC team has experienced very limited workload over the past four months. We were fortunate to remain unaffected by the previous round of layoffs. Given the current situation, is there any possibility that our team may be able to avoid layoffs this time?

Management is just waiting for anxiety, a heart attack, or a stroke to clear the payroll for them!
It’s a toxic wasteland, but at least the survival rate keeps things interesting!

These layoffs do not stop, it is continuation through Q1.
Citi's implementation of the layoffs has been a disaster. My work has been disrupted multiple times. I was working 2 projects with other teams and each project was delayed because someone got laid-off in the middle of the project. Just do the layoffs once and move on.
