It can still happen

@bm Wellness Week was not simply given to employees because JD heard Employees feedback. It was a benefit that was swapped in for the profit sharing 401k match. The fair thing would have been to swap it out for another benefit. Not a birthright, but we need to acknowledge that employees' piece of the pie has shrunk in favor of Wall Street and Execs.
@b7
translation=you work for bankers
they make money off your labor
why aren't you working harder
OP, you’re acting like “Wellness Week” - a peculiar benefit that isn’t at all common in corporate America - was some sort of birthright entitlement if you work at Nike.
Weird.
Sure you can have a “walkout” if it’ll make you feel better. But if I participated in that event I’d be seriously worried that I had just guaranteed my own layoff in the subsequent months.
Dream on. Wellness week isn’t worth risking employment. This is a silly concept. Your voice doesn’t matter. Nike is a public traded company not a family owned business. Dollars matter. Your voice and the privledge you felt to have wellness week do not.
Just make sure to submit your PTO request in timeoff
