VP rolled in today and cut 5 L1 call center managers. Most over 20 years of service. They were cut for not meeting unutainable metrics.

@b6 The issue is all the managers were using COU’s. I know my manager was 1000%!!! Why did they fire only some??? That is targeting. All the managers should have been fired if that’s the case. The company has some explaining to do.

The service reps that proceeded a bunch of those orders should be fired as well, they KNEW what they were doing.

This is ridiculous. What they were doing all managers were doing snd upper leadership knew. So why were they the only ones fired??? Age, race, tenure all of the above!

The managers that came from San Diego were all fired last year. The 6 ( including L2) were from Tustin. They have been replacing legacy managers with cheap labor from Mobility. Names are : Cassie N., Kathy V., Theresa, Jennifer L., Ruben and Sam.

Company just saved itself Millions as California contract at 75 Rule they would get around $550,000 or so based on interest rates. That said they will get around $120,000 instead. Those managers probably fall short on the 75 rule. Get rid of them then back fill a couple spots 6 months later as the company will say we let too many go. Been doing it for 10 plus years in Cali. Employees are disposable to the company. Thanks for nothing.

@dg

There must be benefits since customer service reps are employed in many telecom companies

"Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to have call centers in California ."

The state laws of California make it non-sensical to have any employees there.

Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to have call centers in California . Move those to the south like Louisiana where labor is cheap.

Word is they were fired for calling customers on their COU to close cell phone sales. They had already been told not to do that. Seems like the L2 was a part of it
