Upcoming HSO Midwest Centralization

Does anyone have any news about the upcoming “centralization” that the Midwest region is going to face? Feeling overwhelmed and shutting down. Centralization seems like a synonym for RIF

@b0 This is the worst "transition" by Humana I have seen. Vague communication, long drawn out unnecessarily. You can't tell me they have no idea who is getting let go and who isn't. Just cruel.

No real info as they don't answer questions directly. We had a meetinf Tuesday and they basically said their hope is for everyone to keep their job....lol, schedules won't change but weekends/holidays will become mandatory when needed, and you don't have to reapply for your job.

We should find out who our new manager/leader will be by end of August. We wil then find out about RIF's, schedule changes (they have to give 30 days notice), centralized procedure, and so on by October.

I personally feel like this has been in the works for a loooong time and that even some regions were set up to fail. My region increased metrics back in January and cases decreased dramatically at the exact same time. I feel this was done so they could easily prove, we all aren't needed...because we aren't even meeting metrics. I know other regions metrics never changed. When the metrics changed, our leaders asked us not to share the info with others. I found that strange.

There will be layoffs. They just want to keep everyone calm, so there isn't a mass exodus. I do think managers are on the chopping block. How many individual managers does one need for a "centralized" team?

I'm sticking it out until the end. Not looking forward to the horror stories I've heard.
